WiFi Alerts No Longer Work - No Support
Used this product for +7 years, but WiFi alert system suddenly stopped working. Multiple devices can't connect and my verified network and internet connection are completely functional. Reached out to Zircon with detailed info, got no real response. They only wanted to call instead of answering easy yes/no questions. Support seems overwhelmed. Love these units-also can alert via TEXT
I have seen so many reports that you can only get notification via email, I wanted to remind folks that you can set the email/text if you look at how your carrier does that. That feature makes this device awesome. For example, Verizon requires input as XXXXXXXXXX@vtext.com to set the "email" to go as a text. Other carriers the format is different. Saved our belongings multiple times
As of this review, these alarms have saved our belongings on four occasions. (We have two alarms). We initially purchased one of these after having a flood with a couple feet of water in our basement. Since installing these, we have had two minor floods of a couple inches, and the alarms gave us enough warning to move things off the floor. Gets the job done
Alerts by email only. If you don’t have push email, you may not get alert in time. Positive of it is that it floats and won’t be submerged in deep water. Recommend if you need an audible alarmed sensor quickly.
