Project Source 40-in Carbon steel Post Hole Digger

Broke after two hours of just trying to pull dirt out of already dug holes.

failure in the handle

I have only had my diggers for less than a year only used 2 Times. on the 2nd use one of the the handles gave way and shattered or splintered i should say. I have no idea what to do except get in contact with the manufacturer.

Poorly manufactured product

Confirming the other reviews, this is a poorly made item. Purchased June 2024, broken October 2024 after 3 uses, pictures attached. Lowes will only refund after 90 days, so hopefully the manufacturer will honor the 5 year warranty listed.

Broke on the 7th hole. Wood with a thin fiberglass skin that cracked easily

Don’t buy this post hole digger! OP

Not a well designed tool compared to others I have owned. The handles make it difficult to use. The blade end of the digger are dull and do not dig well into the soil. I had to use a digging bar to break up the soil. In addition it is difficult to remove soil from the hole. I ended up using a small shovel and my hands to remove the soil.
