This splitter is pretty good. I had a different brand for 20 years and very helpful. But I did blow a fuse once and it could go a little further on the push. but so far works pretty well.

I was able to pick up some free White Oak from a neighbor’s fallen tree. This thing is a BEAST! I’m a 63Yr old woman and split and stacked wood for 3 hours last weekend…This Yardmax had no problems! I will look into raising up a bit, my back didn’t hurt, but my glutes and back of my legs stretched in places I didn’t know existed! Get ya one .. great work out!

Take care of it, open up the valve before use, close it after use and this will take care of you. Its good for splitting smaller logs and kindling without taking up the floorspace of a full size splitter.
