Cycles on and off

Do not purchase this product, as it does not work properly. I installed it in a porch light next to a brick house with the sensor facing away from the house. It constantly cycles on and off during dark every few minutes. I tried using it with and without the included tube that slides into the light sensor, and it still cycles every few minutes, changing from being on and off for several minutes continuously. Defective design

We have two of these useless controls. With any of the included three light shade tubes or even with opaque tape covering the photocell, the lamp cycles on and off every few minutes. I wasted many hours fighting with them thinking I was doing something wrong. Do not waste your time.

Don't Buy

Comes on, goes off as soon as it gets light enough from the bulb, repeat. Will be returning!

Don’t buy this brand

These are junk. I had them installed in three outdoor fixtures about 30 feet apart from one another. The lights would constantly turn on and off every few minutes. I replaced them with bulbs that have the eyes built into the bulb and haven’t had issues since.

I bought three (all opened packages go figure) and they all come on and go off constantly. Have tried in multiple places even with the plastic peices. All will be returned

Well first off they don't mention what those little white round plastic things are, then out on the front of the garage we have two and they like the third one on back porch come on then go right back off , so I'm not seeing how the photo sensors little plastic tube things are going to help for when it's pitch black outside and these won't work properly. No-Frills Photocell Socket

I call it a no-frills item since all you one has to do is screw it into the socket and then install the light bulb. It is ideal for use in yard lamps. It is nicely manufactured and long lasting.
