We used these boxes for Cat 6 data wiring in a customers building. Our data plates worked great with these and ended up being a good solution when we found out we had no access inside the walls. I would buy these again.

Could be constructed better

I bought this as a transition from a hole in the ceiling to the channel that runs to the floor. I cut out a hole at the top and bottom to fit the channel. Unless you trim the channel to fit flush with the bottom, you can't stick it to the wall because of the backing plate. Didn't notice that until I started sticking it from the floor up to the box. The last 10 inches or so do not fit fully flush against the wall. It looks OK but could be better. The cover is cheap plastic and is not worth what i...
