Large, versatile bench vise

I happened to be looking for a bench vise for my new workshop, and this Wilton vise was one of Lowe's 1-day deals, bringing it down to the same cost as their smaller, less versatile vise. I'm very pleased with this unit, as it not only rotates at the base, but also the head itself rotates to give you more positions to hold whatever material that you're working on. While it's a bit larger than I really need, I'm sure that it'll come in very handy.

In my opinion, there’s no better vise than a Wilton. As I was going through welding school, I’d always admire the Wilton’s they had there. However too expensive for me at the time. I’m sure there are more expensive vises out there for a professional,but for a prosumer, it definitely fills all requirements. I’ve had a Craftsman 5” vise since 1983. This vice is very heavy built. I like the ability to rotate the head to use the unit for pipes etc.
