Defective Connectors
This product is unfortunately totally defective. The filter itself may work okay, but the plastic shroud connectors and tubing are prone to breaking off within 24-36 hours of installation. I thought perhaps the first model may have just been randomly defective and bought a second. Both models broke at the same point going to the cold water valve. We installed this about 5 weeks ago ago and it worked fine for about a week and a 1/2. Then one day we heard water coming out all over under the sink. A hose had blew out of the filter itself which isn’t even supposed to come at all! Lots of water everywhere. I really thought the water tasted great before the filter blew out. So disappointed

Disaster averted
We installed the filter 2 weeks ago and have used it daily. Last night the output hose came completely out of the head unit flooding the kitchen and living room of our completely remodeled rooms. Luckily we were in another room and heard the water running continuously and were able to shut off the main water line before any big damage was done. Connection Methode Stinks
The filter unit itself is good. The issue is it uses a cheap plastic hose and push-in plaster connector on the filter. Installed the filter under the kitchen sink. Was working for about six hours when water started gushing out from under the sink. The output side plastic hose and connector had dislodged from the filter unit. Called their customer service and was told I needed to send them a video of the problem. All I wanted was a replacement for the push-in connector but was told I needed ...

TERRIBLE INSTALLATION, GAS LEAKS, SJ GAS HAD TO TURN METER OFF, IDIOT DRLIVERY MEN,DID NOT TIGHTEN GAS LINE TO RANGE, BROKE THE GAS LINE OUT OF THE FLOOR

There is a difference
It does take the chlorine taste and the smell away. My coffee tasted different also.
