What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this popcorn maker for delivering evenly popped, delicious corn with minimal unpopped kernels and superior taste compared to microwave alternatives. The stirring mechanism and ability to melt butter directly during popping enhance flavor effortlessly. Users love the intuitive design, clear bowl, and flip-top lid that doubles as a serving vessel, making it ideal for families and gatherings. Cleanup is quick and easy thanks to the non-stick surface. Many report owning the same unit for decades, citing durability and reliability. A few note challenges cleaning hard-to-reach areas and mention the plastic lid feels flimsy. Overall, most consider it an excellent, worthwhile investment.

Popping Away In Mountains

Great machine, easy to use and clean! I recommend using Amish purple popcorn for fewer husks.

Poor Quality Lid

Received this item as a Christmas gift 12/25/2025. We have used it a few times, but very disappointed that the lid does not snap down on the clear bowl tight enough to stay on. The clear bowl is designed to flip over and serve the popped corn in it. We have to either put the bowl on top of a dinner plate or serve the popped corn in other bowls. Very disappointed in this feature. It pops corn great, though. It seems we can't get a replacement lid because we do not have a receipt! West Bend...

Stir Crazy popcorn popper

Would Recommend

I have had a Stir Crazy popcorn popper for several years, and its lid started breaking apart, so I decided to get a new popper rather than just replacing the lid. I have only used the new popper once since I received it, and it worked just the way it should.

Best Popcorn Popper!

Would Recommend

I’ve had a lot of oil popcorn poppers, and this is by far the best. The shape of the basin keeps all the pop corn kernels together which means almost every single one will pop. Solid design and worth every penny!!

Best ever

Would Recommend

We've owned three or four previous corn poppers. This one is the best ever. It pops quickly and consistently leaves few unpopped kernals.

Best popcorn popper ever! So glad updated model is now available! My original is still going strong after decades of use! But I’m so glad I can get a new one now! Love it!
