Like every grill I've ever used, some spots are warmer than others. It takes a bit of experimentation. Some times this is an advantage. Move thinner cuts to the sides and thicker cuts nearer the back of the grill to get all to cook evenly and be done at the same time. The axillary side burner heats a bit more slowly than I'd hoped. But I can steam a big pot of corn in relatively short order. I'm overall very pleased.

Cooking grates rust
Beware , the Cooking grates rapidly rust out and Weber doesn’t have replacement parts available, nor do they have an ETA of when it will be back in stock . Even though it’s a known manufacturing defect . I will never buy another Weber product again.

Absolutely love this grill. You can tell how well it’s made. The cook is excellent and the technology is mind blowing. I’m so glad I got this grill and it’s already a big hit with friends and family.

Fantastic Cooking
First, assembly was much easier than I anticipated. My wife and I were able to complete the project in under 3 hours. It is important to note that some pieces were well "hidden" in the packaging (underneath other larger items). So it is vital that you remove EVERYTHING from the packing box to ensure you find all of the parts. Once I connected to the gas line (nat. gas model), I fired her up and let it run for 20+ minutes to burn off whatever residue remained from being new. I then proceeded to ...

Temp probes save the day
More than just a grill - I used two sensors in a rack of lamb to ensure they were done. Didn’t have to open the grill, just watched my phone app for them to come to temp and pulled them out - perfect! I’d tried to serve lamb at Easter before and cookbook timing for oven roasting was way off - had embarrassingly undercooked, chewy lamb chops! This year, I could socialize w family without worrying or checking.
