This is a great grill. Buy far the best propane grill I have cooked on. After 18 years with my last Webber grill it was time for an up grade. Yes old faithful is still going strong as well now at a friends house it still lights first or second push. Poor quality control

Purchased from a local dealer. Assembled it myself. Paper instructions were missing a few things making it a bit confusing. Not sure who wrote them or figured out how to label the boxes but it would say for instance start with box K then A, rather than go in alphabet order. It would make much more sense to be in order so you could line them all up correct before starting assembly. The stainless side tables come with clear protective vinyl you have to remove. I previously had a Genesis 300 series 3 burner grill so I’m very familiar with Weber Natural Gas grills. There was really no other choice for me when it came time to replace it after 12 years. I decided to go with a Genesis SX 335 NG smart grill and have not been disappointed in my new grill. AVOID THIS ONE

Avoid the one. The other unit that has a traditional old fashion thermometer on the grill hood is the way to go. NOT this one that is electrical. It requires being plugged in either to a electrical outlet or a battery pack (Doesn't come with) to operate the digital thermometer. It is Weber quality over all other than this electrical necessity if you want to know the temperature. Would have been nice if it had both. Better late than never to the grilling game

Assembling the grill was made easier by placing all the parts separately on the floor, you will need a LOT of space for this. It took about 2.5 hours with the help of my teenage child. The instructions cover multiple models, so there was some confusion when a particular step covered different instructions based on the model and/or upgrades your grill came with. This is easily the best grill I’ve ever owned. I’m still adjusting to it but it cooks beautifully. The sear zone is wonderful and storage is great. Is this grill perfect? Extremely happy with my new Genesis Smart Grill.

I wanted to replace a 15 year old Weber Summit grill and decided to try a Genesis SX-335 Smart Grill. The Genesis Smart Grill has performed far above my expectations. The heat range is incredible, the grill surface may be smaller it has more depth and actually accommodates meat cuts like fajitas better. I cooked on the grill several times and set up the temperature bluetooth yesterday evening…WOW, setting it up was incredibly easy and I’m sure it will be used frequently and will be very useful.

More a review of customer service than the grill.

Ordered Grill online for delivery not assembled. They assembled anyway "mostly" correct. I am not sure if they charged me for assembly. Noticed some dents in the end panel when checking it over. I called customer service to see if I could get an end panel(they barely speak English). I was offered $10 back on a $1300 grill or to return it. Extremely well illustrated assembly instructions

First, absolutely download the BILT app. But, keep the written instruction manual handy. BILT is a bit generic, so reading the instruction manual in parallel provides one of the best instructions I've experience. Using common phone finger gestures for expanding and rotating objects allows you to see the assembly step from all possible angles and locations.
