My lawn service mowed themselves out of a job. My lawn was mowed so short for so long that the ground is now very compact with very little Bermuda grass growing, mostly weeds. This 35" Steel Spike aerator is my attempt to aerate and reseed my lawn on my own time with minimal expense. It was very easy for this 66 yo to assemble and it is light-weight as well which made it very easy to use.

I am very satisfied with this product. I was sceptical at first because it comes in pieces that need to be assembled, however, the assembly was super easy and the tool is not wobbly like other similar tools. It is metal and feels solid when handled. The spikes are sharp! I used it on dry dirt that is compacted and it went through. Of course, it's easier and better to use it when the ground is softer, but I wanted to try it before watering or rain to test it's true potential. For the price, this ...
