[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the EX696L multi tool when it was on sale and thought I got a good deal. The tool sat in my workshop for a long time until used it. It worked great for about 6 cuts. Then it started making horrific noises and wasn’t cutting. It seems the shaft that connects the motor to the chuck has broken….. now I have a very pretty rechargeable paper weight…..

It did exactly as I wanted on a job I was doing. I highly recommended this tool to my friends. I love the battery sharing.

I bought it because it shares battery with other tools I have, It is OK for the price but changing blades is not optimal.
