Easy to use

Very easy to put together and use. Could have a larger bag for catching the grass.

Great little machine (forget the bag)

Dethatcher works well, overall. The tines do a fantastic job of pulling up the dead grass, but I do wish it covered a larger area. It can take quite a while to complete an average yard. The batteries the machine came with worked fine, but did run out relatively quickly (less than 30 minutes), so I made sure to purchase the much stronger batteries, which were on the expensive end. Batteries

Battery life is about 40 minutes. Had to recharge 1.5 hrs to use up to 40 minutes. Not happy with battery life. Took all day to dethatch yard. I stand by all your other products which I have 4 of them.

Bag will fill up quickly

Easy assemby and exchange of dethatcher and scarifier. Empting bag will wear you out. Battery lasted long enough for my spot use. If doing entite yard it would have take several recharges

Effective Dethatcher

Amazed by how much dead grass this pulled up when turned on and pushed around the yard! Very effective. Pleased with the bagging functionality and grateful to have this instead of manually taking with our other non-battery powered version!

Limited power with battery.

Works as described. Met my needs. Only issue is battery life- but this was known at time of purchase. Best to buy extra batteries if you need to complete in one weekend. Charging the safely is a process.

Does a great job

Does a great job. The battery life could be longer, however, I expected to purchase additional batteries.

A good battery operated dethatcher/scarifier.

I used the scarifier tool first (it also comes with a dethatcher tool), it worked well, easy to push plus the major benefit of no electrical cable, you have to put both batteries in and they last about 20 minutes but I still managed to cover a reasonable amount of space on the +1 setting. You can also lower the setting height if needed. Even though set up is relatively easy the instructions booklet which are in the box could be improved.

Worth the price and effort

I have 8,000+ sq ft of lawn and I managed to get all of it done with this machine and the two batteries provided. Facts: the batteries only last about 20 minutes, take about 35 minutes to cool down and 2 hours to recharge. Surprisingly, you can cover a lot in 20 minutes. You can buy extra batteries directly on Worx's site which I may do for next season. Read the instructions as the battery will last longer if you minimize how much you start/stop the machine. The bag is too small to be worth it...
