Lean the front of the ladder against the front hook and swing the back up onto the rack. Close the gas spring assisted quick clamp and you are ready to roll.

Mounting kit separate

Would Not Recommend

As if this $700+ ladder rack isn’t expensive enough, you have to spend another $100+ for a mounting kit. Would have been nice to know this upfront. Good luck figuring out which kit you need. I’ll be returning it.
