Valspar Satin Tintable Tintable Latex Exterior Paint + Primer ( 1-quart )

Exterior Fade~never again

Two coats on 1500 sq ft ranch....faded started year one and by year4...at least 2 shades lighter and here we go painting again! Does NOT prevent mold or mildew. VERY disappointed in this product!

Faded badly

Painted exterior of house with Valspar Ultra flat paint about a year ago. The light brown color that we used has faded badly in the sunny areas of the house. On the south east side of the house the paint faded from a light brown to a funny very light brown-pinkish color. I have outdoor furniture next to the house in one area. When you pull the furniture away from the house you can see a big difference in the color where the sun hits the house and where it has been shaded. Extreme fading in just ...

Valspar Ultra Review

I used this on the house trim and semi enclosed patio area. The coverage was great and easy to apply. After several years it still looks great. Will definitely use this again.

great coverage

Just bought this paint in white for the trim of my side garage door and the nanometer caps on my porch. I love Valspar! I think it covered very well and I didn't have to recoat. Thanks Valspar! I will be buying for all my paint needs.

home

Love the final look...great to work with....makes me want to do more painting more often!!!!!!!

Great coverage!

Great coverage, beautiful color. Looks really good.

Not my favorite

I have used Valspar flat wall paint for 15 years. I would not recommend paint + primer. The paint is thick, and it dried on my cut-in brush in about 1/2 hour. The brush was ruined - couldn't wash it out. I would rather apply two coats of standard paint. I don't know who's idea this was (at Valspar) but I think it's an attempt at a DIY market. I hope they still make the 'old' Valspar.

Good Paint

Went on easily, covered well. Color was as advertised.

I used a foam roller for doors, the door was properly prepared. Lots of tiny bubbles that didn't dissipate. Sanded after first coat, then tried using a brush. It left a very streaky appearance. For the third coat I tried a regular 3/8 " nap roller with a little better results as far as the bubbles. I ...
