Great value for the price!
This is a great little pump. I used this pump to replace a 2 hp model of the same basic pump which lasted 1.5 years before the mechanical rotary seal started to leak. So I ordered a new rotary seal for that pump and will use as a backup for this new one. This new one is half the horsepower and makes much less noise as you might expect. But to my surprise it recirculates the water just as efficiently as the other pump. I have a fairly large inground pool with about 3 foot of lift from the water s...

PUMP COMES WITH A 115 VOLT A/C POWER CORD WITH A SWITCH FOR 115 OR 230 VOLTS. HOW IS THE MOTOR SUPPOSED TO BE WIRED FOR THE 230 VOLT USE? NO WIRING DIAGRAM COMES WITH THE PUMP TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE.

The pump seems to be functioning well. The documentation provided with it is skimpy. The only issue that I had with it was setting it up as a 240v pump. It has a switch that changes from 120 to 240 and that part is straightforward. However, it is equipped with a 120v plug to connect it to an outlet. That plug will not fit a 240v outlet.
