What Customers Are Saying
The product is a compact and effective heater for small spaces, with adjustable heat settings and quiet operation. However, some customers reported reliability issues, such as the heater not staying on or tripping circuit breakers, and it may not be powerful enough for larger areas. The overall consensus suggests the heater is suitable for limited, temporary use in small rooms.

100 sqft? No, Much More!
I reside in Central Florida and currently having our first cold spell and as usual our household has different heat preferences, so I figured why not try a couple of inexpensive heaters. These gems solved the problem fast. They warmed two rooms, one 15'X17' & 12'X14' and satisfying two picky seniors. Easy to use, compact, clean looks, consistent heat output (infrared verified), and quiet. If you don't like this heater for practical use, return it because you must of received a 1 in a 10,000 defe...

Small but mighty room heater
I bought this to replace a similar, older unit that was no longer putting out enough heat. Wow -- does this little heater heat things up! It's a small space and it almost instantly makes things comfortable. We have to run it at its Low setting where we used to run the old one at High all the time. The thermostat works reasonably well too.

A good space heater
We needed a small heater to use while are heating system was being replaced. This heater was inexpensive and easy to use. It has the "tipover" button on the bottom that shuts it off if it is knocked over. It does cycle off when it feels it has provided enough heat for the time being. Nothing you say or do will persuade it to resume heatng, so humor it and unplug it for a cool down period.

Had the Utilitech heater for 3 months now and so far it heats my 9x10 bathroom within 5 minutes. I attached it to my Kill-A-Watt meter and at Fan setting (no heat) it draws 3 watts, on Low it jumps to 1000 watts for a few seconds initially before it settles down to 775 watts, and at High it jumps to nearly 1700 watts for a few seconds before leveling down to 1490 watts in continuous use. As other's have said, the thermostat min-max knob for the most part is totally useless, hence the 4 stars.
Small and stable
The Utilitech ceramic heater is very compact. Runs quiet and has lots of heat. I set it on top of toilet ware tank and still about 2 inches space on the back. It is not high so very stable on that tank. If you need a small and thin heater, this is the one. I bought an extra one for spare.

need to nr close to it to feel the heat
I ordered this online. This is much smaller than I thought it would be. It puts out heat, but it doesn't "throw" out heat. You need to be very close to it to feel the heat. I could see this being a good heater to put under your desk or something like that, but not to heat a room...even a small room.

Won't Stay On - Don't buy it
It won't stay on. I've tried it in different outlets and even in different buildings. For some reason, I have to turn it down to get it to heat. It heats for a few seconds and turns off. This thing is garbage.
Don't waste your time and money
My heat went out in the middle of winter, and I desperately needed a heater until it got fixed. I ended up buying this one and a larger heater from this same company but will be returning both. I tried this small one in 2 different sockets but tripped 2 different fuses. If this smaller heater trips fuses in my newer home, I'm sure the larger one will too.
Another useless Utilitech product
The UtiliTech 1500-watt ceramic space heater worked fine for the couple of months that it worked and then the motor died. I have yet to buy one UtiliTech product that lasted more than a couple of months. I would not recommend this space heater or this brand. These products are cheaply made, very poor quality. Lowe's should be ashamed to making products that are nothing more than expensive garbage.
