Not Recommended as Heavy Duty

The framework of the chair bent at the point where the backrest meets the arm rests. Probably only used it 6-8 times. Admittedly, I’m over 6ft tall, weigh over 240lbs, and spend a lot of time at the gym. I stretched my arms out with the backrest at a medium incline and felt the frame bend. In short, not the best choice for larger persons. While the chair wasn’t bad before it broke, this definitely seems to be of relatively lower quality than other offerings from Tommy Bahama.

Lightweight to carry, and easy to fold/unfold

Opening is very easy, as well as adjusting from upright to very reclined, with 2 more positions in between (4 total). The seating surface is not the most comfortable, as the material is very tight, and does not stretch, it almost feels like sitting on a board. I would recommend sitting on a towel perhaps. We live at the beach and use to go through many different beach chairs until I purchased these chairs. I was tired of wasting money and throwing the chairs out year after year. I purchased 7 of these beach chairs and they have lasted approximately 2 years to date. These chairs may cost a few extra dollars but worth every penny. Quality Materials

I like how the chair is made with quality materials such as the non-rust aluminum frame and the wooden arms. The carrying strap is very convenient as is the 3 position backrest section and cup holder, which has a zipper to accommodate any width of beverage size. I live a half mile from the beach and this chair is very lightweight and easy to walk with because the shoulder strap is adjustable and there’s also a pad on it. It has multiple settings to recline, the fabric feels like a better quality than my current chairs yet still very breathable. It has one cupholder that is adjustable. Fun, basic, comfortable beach chair Looks nice too

A basic, lightweight, water color scheme, foldable beach chair. Took this down to our spring break beach trip. When folded it is thin, easy to slide in between luggage in the car. Light and easy to carry down to the ocean and easy to deploy on the sand. It has four adjustable positions for the tilt of the back. This is a comfortable chair to enjoy the beach and breeze. Nice Beach Chair!

This chair is light-weight, folds to a thin profile, and is easily adjustable. The backrest can be adjusted to four different positions. The colors are bright. It also has a cup holder on the side. The material is currently a bit noisy, but I expect that to change as it gets used more. The stance is a bit taller off of the ground, which makes it easier for me to climb out of. The shoulder strap makes it easy to carry. Nice chair! I like it a lot!

Beach Weather is Coming!

I selected this product, since even in Buffalo I wanted to prepare for the eventual coming of summer. The chair arrived well packaged and undamaged. It is comfortable to sit in, and I like that the back is adjustable. The other positives include the carrying strap, beverage holder and wooden arms (which won't get hot to the touch in the sun. The only criticism I have is that it squeaks when you sit in and move around. Nothing horrible, but noticeable. Overall, a nice chair.

An excellent, brand forward Tommy B chair

Sand chairs are not complex products. They open, you sit in them. End of narrative. This one is no different - smartly presented with logo front and back alongside a carrying strap to throw over your back it does nothing more and nothing less than it's supposed to. It's going to be more expensive than non branded items, but if you want to add a pinch of sunshine to any day, then you can rest assured this will work for you.
