Works as Intended
Works as intended. The instructions leave a little to the imagination but taking your time you can figure it out. I used for mount a light fixture where a can light was before. Next project will be for a ceiling fan and that one I'm a little concerned about.
If you can order two….just in case
Left a part out of the box (rod) so fortunately my electrician knew how to wing it, unfortunately it took him way longer than it should have!$$$ Thanks, online ordering.

Great can replacement - more lighting options now
Product works great and is just as promised, but instructions could be clearer. Had to backtrack a couple times for no real reason except the instructions had unneeded specifics that were wrong.

hard to mount
this works great for converting can light to ceiling fan. it is hard to get mounting bracket installed, especially just right

Who ever designed this was high, not easy to install at all!

Worked but wasn't easy. You're required to drill 3 holes inside the can, at an angle. And then screw, tightly, the device in place. Again, worked but not easy. BUT - it was way easier than ripping out the ceiling and putting in a box!
