Tell lock is solid in construction
Tell locks are nearly legendary in durability and life. I installed a Tell lock t replace one which was installed ten years ago. The old tell lock was showing its age but was functional. The lock is used as an entry lock to a seven unit apartment building and the lock is probably operated 25 to 35 times per day.
