I purchased this grout to complement my stainmaster coppermine 18x18 LVT. I used the max grout width allowed for the tiles of 3/16. It took a little getting used to, as I have only used non-sanded grout prior to this. Using a damp sponge to wet the tiles/joints prior to application is a must. It helps the grout move easier into the joint space and for easier removal when holding the float at 90°. Removing the haze is a little more work because it has to be done quickly to prevent it from causing...
Not sure it's worth the effort
Just finished laying about 200sf of Armstrong Crescendo vinyl tile with this grout. It looks OK, better than a no-grout look, I think, but I have two complaints: 1.Grout lines are limited to 3/16 inch, which reduces the look of "real tile," which probably would normally use at least 1/4", and 2. It's sanded grout, which I think rubbed off the finish on the tile. I had hoped the dullness was just residual grout haze, but I've gone over it several times with Armstrong cleaner and it still dries lo...
Clean up
Goes down easy if you’ll wet the floor with the clean up sponge. Clean up is tough. You can’t smear the whole floor like ceramic. You need to stay right with the joints and not “sand” the vinyl tile with you float because it will scratch it and take away some of the shine. If you try to go back with a cloth, you’ll pull the grout out of the joints. If you have no expirience with grout, start in a closet or under a piece of furniture and figure it out. Just do that spot first and give it a ...
Easy to use but...
I found this grout to be very easy to use, as long as you are working quickly. As you get near the bottom of the tub, the remaining product starts to dry out. Also, the specs on the side on the tub overestimate how much area it covers. The table said it would cover 150sqft based on my tile size and spacing, but it barely covered 100sqft in reality. But in the end, it looks great and holds up well!

Easy to use. Very forgiving.
Just completed laying two rooms of Groutable vinyl tile. Used same grout on both styles of tile. Used 1/8 inch spacers. If you slightly mist the tile joints the grout is easier to clean up. Applied with a putty knife to joint. Pressed in and removed excess with a float. Clean with a slightly damp sponge. Do Not Over Wet Grout. Dries slow so it is used friendly. Mine turned out perfect. Very satisfied.
looks great
We purchased this and used it on 2 bathroom floors after installing the luxury vinyl by Stainmaster. We really like the grouted look with the vinyl tiles. It was easy on and seems to be doing what it should be. Seems to go a long way also...we did 2 bathroom floors and still have some left over. Was quick and easy.
Delorean Gray Grout
This was the first time I have attempted grouting but it wasn't difficult. The grout was easy to apply - I used a putty knife and then removed excess grout with a grout float. The grout was easy to clean off the tiles and the color looks great with the Stainmaster Oyster Travertine vinyl tiles.

Deloreon Gray
I was worried the color was too green judging solely by the label but it's a nice cool gray with very little green in it. I paired it with Armstrong's French Gray tiles and the colors go well together. Not too much contrast. Easy to use and hoping the added flexibility of the grout will wear well overtime.
Good stuff
I couldn't believe how easy this stuff was to use. I have done regular tile grout many times but this vinyl grout is really easy. Tip only do a 3x3 area at a time, it dries quick.

Sealer needed?
Has anyone ever used a grout sealer with this product or any other vinyl tile grout? If so, were there any negative effects on the vinyl you used such as stains/discoloration? Cannot seem to find any information regarding grout sealant on vinyl tile grout. Most grout sealers seem to be specific for ceramic/porcelain tiles and I don't want to take the risk and ruin the vinyl.
