Ok for rough work, accuracy +/- 1 degree
On a level surface my digital angle gauge indicates 90 angle and the same when flipped around. The Lowes Swanson on the same level surface indicates -1 degree one way, +1 degree when flipped around. Going to return it, perhaps try some out in the store to see if I can find one that reads the same both ways.

No magnetism - wobbly so inaccurate
This is supposed to be magnetic? It doesn't even stick to the cleanest metal. I can feel a very weak pull but nowhere near close enough to stick to anything - defeating the whole purpose of its marketing. Without a solid stable base, the angle is wobbly and therefore inaccurate and pointless.
Swanson Tool Company Angle Finder AOK
Pretty nice for $10. Doesn't swing back and forth forever like my old finder but it is still reasonably sensitive to a few degrees of change. It measures zero right on with my bubble level.

Needed help with angles
While working on my cabin build project, and finally beginning the interior ceiling. Using tongue and groove 1x6 and a lot of them I wanted to get it right. I saw someone use the angle finder on the internet and decided to give it a try. Wow! The Swanson Angle finder did the trick, no more cutting and guessing.

Love this perfect angle every time magnetic to keep it in place when setting driveshaft position. Also works great for line drop when putting in sewer line or other drain line.
