This 9 in Magnetic shock-resistant Torpedo Level has all the features of a traditional level, but in a conveniently compact frame. SUPERSHOCK® end caps absorb shock during drops and falls to provide unmatched durability. Six high-strength rare earth magnets are embedded into the design with IMS® technology for a grip like no other level in its class. Exclusive bright view® white vial surrounds reflect light for easy viewing. The deep V-groove channel allows the user to work with both round stock and squared corners. This was a good purchese. Very rugged and durable. I have dropped from 6-8' with no problems. The rubber caps were one of the reasons I purchased this level. The magnets are on the grooved side and are ok but could be stronger. It will come loose if you bump (medium hard) the pipe it's hanging from. Magnets on the flat side would be an excellent addition. Great color (blue) and anodized finish.

Great standard level for the price

Just as it says in the title, this is a great standard level for the price, it is light and durable, there are rubber "tips" at each end of the level to protect it from the multiple drops that will most likely happen, I was hanging something for my wife on the outside of our house and I had this sitting on the top of my ladder and when I reached up to drill the hole I knocked the level off the ladder, it fell about 10-15 feet onto concrete and it just bounced into the grass, no damage just some ...
