Definitely would not buy again
I purchased this system for my daughter's new home and it was installed on 5/29/21. She's had problems with it since it was (professionally) installed. The last straw is the camera that totally stopped working. The motion detector lights on it came on and never went off and the camera stopped showing video/recording. I'm assuming it has something to do with the water you can see inside the glass cover and the condensation you can see on the lens.

Need better quality control
The picture quality and range are fine and there seem to be a lot of features with this system. Unfortunately 2 of my 4 cameras stopped working within a year. One was defective out of the box and worked intermittently till it finally failed. Others seem to have better success with their systems so maybe I got a bad batch of cameras.

Inconsistent recording and performance
I purchased this system because I had a Swann camera system on my last house and was pleased with it. I was impressed with the specifications of this system and was especially impressed by the claims of the PIR function and the ability to reduce "false alarms/recordings" by only recording when motion AND a heat signature was present.
