SureSoft 40-lb Water Softener Salt Solar crystals

Hard water? Feh.

Any kind of product that keeps that nasty dissolved rock from making my skin crawl (literally) and leave the entire Great Basin stuck to my tub, works for me. (Matt loaded my car fast and politely too - why don't you a have a section for employee kudos??)

These are the crystals recommended by our plumber for our water system. They work great, never encountered any stock issues, & the price is better at Lowes than other places i found it. Bonus- customer service is top notch at Lowes. Elaina brought my order out a couple of minutes after I parked. She arrived with a smile, loaded 80lbs of salt in my car and was professional & friendly the entire time.

No additives, good choice

I have used this product for over 10 years and it does the job. It is preferred according to the manufacturer of my water system because there are no additives. The only thing I don’t like is that Lowe’s used to have the best price for it, but I’ve discovered a competitor offers it for less. Unfortunate because I prefer shopping at Lowe’s, but may have to adjust.

I was told one thing then I get a different answer. The people in that department don't know how to do customer service. All they care about is hurry up and get this shipment over weather it is correct or not. I never expected to be told one thing then told another thing. My time is important also. Finally a relief from traditional Pellets

Finally some relief! Glad I finally discovered Sure Soft Water Softener Salt. It's coursely ground up, unlike other brands, which helps prevent the salt from bridging. Pellets have always posed a problem of building a hard salt bridge that needs to be broken up in order to keep salt flowing smoothly during the regeneration cycle which converts hard water into soft water. I highly recommend Sure Soft!

Good experience and right by front door so an easy load in. Don’t understand why the prices keep going up. Getting so expensive just to provide soft water for the family.

A decent product but expect a long walk.

This salt has worked well in our water softener system for 15+ years. The bag withstands being lugged, loaded and unloaded multiple times without splitting. You can get a volume discount if you buy at least 6 bags at a time. I'd give it 5 stars if Lowes would make it less of a chore to purchase. The flat carts needed to move it are on the far-left aisle of the store, while the salt is the back wall closer to the right side of the store.
