Not kidding about the spikes
So hard to push but does the job. The spikes are huge but not sharp, digs into the ground, gets caught on weeds. MUST wet the area prior working it.
aerator
overall good item gets job efficient and effectively. you wont regret buying it only downfall is putting it together.. instructions not the best. so easy to use anyone can use it i mean anyone. its nice to know it only will take few min compared to the spikes i use to put on my shoes that took a hour

Does the job
I had to wait to get delivered and you put together. It works but you have to have something heavy to lay on top.
How You Git 'Er Done
Decent price; simple assembly; effective at doing what it say - aerating or tilling dirt!

Okay for small jobs
Purchased to use on some bare patches in the yard, in order to seed. Did a good job on area with loose soil. Added a cement block for weight on harder soil. Was satisfactory.
