What Customers Are Saying
The product reviews present mixed opinions on the quality and performance of the deck hooks. Some customers found the hooks to be poorly made, flimsy, and unstable, with issues like the screw bending or the hook breaking. Others were satisfied, describing the hooks as sturdy, well-made, and effective for hanging items on their decks. The consensus is that the quality and reliability of the hooks vary significantly, and they may work well for some users and applications but not others.

Weak/Flimsy Mounting Bracket
Weak/Flimsy Mounting Bracket - that wouldn’t even hold a small hummingbird feeder, without bending, and falling off of the deck rail.

Poorly made
I had a suet feeder hanging from this deck hook. That's a very light load. Yet, this morning, I found it had failed. As you can see in the photo, it bent and the screw is no longer pointed in the right direction. The screw also tends to dig into the deck railing. Other deck hooks flare out and have more surface area where the screw contacts the deck railing. This provides better clamping pressure. It is cheaply made and a waste of money.

Great way to create a great look on your deck.
I love the way these free up space on my deck...they are good looking and allow me to hang my plants over the deck, so none of the flowers fall onto it. That keeps it clean and calls for less sweeping. I've purchased 8 of these this summer and just love them.

Useful to hang bird feeders
Worked well for the purpose if hanging the bird feeder. However, if it was flush instead of having cuff-like attachment, it would be able to be attached to the deck in more than 1 area.
