Plastic piece holding clip to flag broke after <3 months. Very disappointed.

don't waste your money

flag is not adjustable to allow multiple flag sizes to stay taught. it also doesn't fit the "house flags" also sold by Lowe's. Lowe's should pull these poles and flags from the shelves as they are a waste of money and likely have a high return rate.

Broke within a year

This pole is the definition of planned to break instead of planned to last. The plastic hoops are super thin and I could see them wearing after only a few months of use. As suspected one of them broke now less than a year later. Also the metal clips are cheap and I replaced them soon after with something that wouldn't bend out of place and allow the flag to fall off.

Flag Pole Only Fits Certain Size Flags

I put a standard 3' x 5' flag on this pole, however the plastic sleeve is only good for flags up to 27". If you have a flag that is larger than 27", the adjustable sleeves don't accommodate the size and can't keep the flag taught. Poor design.

Design and Advertisement Fall Short

The description of this flag pole indicates that it fits flags up to 50" wide; however, the the bullets later, It mentions only a single size, "Fits 28-in x 44-in house flags." Since the top clip has no collar/thumbscrew to hold it in place, it will fit only one size flag; many have mentioned this. On the other hand, someone mentioned swapping the hardware to put the slip ring on the bottom and the collar on top. This does work, but is not optimal. Since I wanted this flag for the 4th (tomorrow)...

Only accepts 1 size of flag when it would be so easy to add a single screw to make it adjustable. Easy enough to fix on your own, but why not just buy a dowel at that point? Would be a lot cheaper than $20.
