Delivery Issues - Damaged box

When I received the box for the hammock base, it was barely recognizable. The hardware was out of the box and the frame was scuffed and damaged. Unfortunately, I cannot upload any pics as the site won't allow them because they're too large and not an option to compress the photo - which seems intentional.

Piece of Junk. $20 hammock stand

It's extremely flims, cheap, and unstable. The width of the base is very small; any hammock always flips over as soon as you lay it. The stand automatically bows inward so you will always touch the ground. You can't move easily; no wheels. Just cheap. I don't expect it will last more than a year.

Exactly what I wanted

This hammock stand is exactly what we were looking for with this purchase. We wanted one that would break down small enough to be somewhat portable. We love sleeping in hammocks, and this will enable us to take our hammocks on our next vacation without concern of available trees. I wish the description would have been more detailed, but I was able to zoom in on the pictures to confirm it was what I wanted to buy.

As expected!

Exactly as expected! Fits our 10ft hammock perfectly. It's sturdy and simple. Was easy to put together. I've had a 200lb person on it with no issue.

How was this seemed safe??

This hammock stand is very, very heavy. As such, the box was in shambles when I received it, and the delivery person left it at my driveway instead of bringing it to the door. Because everything is attached with slots and spring loaded pins, there's a ton of wobble, especially in the center joint. It can move back and forth, side to side a couple inches. No way does this thing feel safe! It's going back to the store. I don't know how this product got approved for production.

Flimsy stand

This stand weighs about 1/2 what my original stand weighs. It is way too insubstantial to put kids-or adults -on it. It sways back and fort with the slightest movement and feels like it could tip over at any point. More proof that things get shabbier every year, and cost more every minute. Cannot keep this.

Could be better

The product was easy to put together and for the most part, does it job of holding up a hammock but a big downer is that it makes an awfully loud grinding noise when you swing, due to where the hook attaches to the side bars. Not very relaxing. May return if we can not figure out an easy fix.

Like it!

It was heavier than I thought it would be, but I probably didn’t read that part correctly! It comes in parts though so I could carry it to the back yard in parts. Easy to put together, and only took 10 minutes! Works great for my hammock.
