Krauter Vesuvius Flowering Plum Ornamental Tree has abundent clusters fo fragant, light pink flowers that bloom 2 to 3 weeks early to midspring. One of the first trees to bloom in early spring with flowers that line the stems and branches before the leaves appear. The leaves emerge and turn a dark purple-black foliage that persists from summer to fall. After the flowers fade, berries develop and turn red into early fall attracting birds.
