LED lighting does not last long

Built to last for 10 yrs or better, has a replaceable thermal type cad cell sensor which is easily replaceable and lasts a very long time, the bulb low watt 70w HPS bulb doesn`t attract spiders lasts a very long time. bought a LED version lasted 15 days, returned it.,, paid 25 dollars more and bought this 1730 model have had very good luck with HPS fixtures

Unreliable Product

This is a unreliable product. I purchased this lamp in Jan of 2023. It took hours before the light came on. Most of the time it was dark. The replacement I received from Southwire worked fine. Later that year the lamp was damaged. In August I purchased a new lamp. The problem now is that it works only at times. Than it stays dark for days. I looking forward to another replacement. Four lamps in one year. I give up and look for something else. The Southwire service so far was great. The question...

The globe diameter might be smaller than the public utility-owned light, allowing slightly less light dispersion. All in all, a good buy.

Not Rigid

Fixture illuminates as advertised. The reflective shroud is not rigid. After screwing in the anchor screws all the way, the shroud was rattling in the wind. There needs to be more anchor points. I had to add JB Weld and a shim to secure the loose shroud. For $125, i expected better quality. One should not have to modify a new, in the box product.

Had to flush mount, thought it would also mount on an Arm. Hardware not included for that.

2 year warranty dies right after warranty

This is the second one we have owned. They have 2 year warranties and both lasted just past the warranty before failing. It’s always the light that fails not the bulb or photocell

bright light..However the metal hood for the plastic globe is CHEAP made (like a alum pie pan)
