Works very well for other projects
The main reason for the wire was to extend my garage opener wire, and it worked out well.

there are many uses for coated 26 gauge wire.
I buy this wire for projects around my home. I used it to make a curtain on the patio. I use it to attach shade clothe to screens to shade plants. Im sure its great for low voltage electrical projects also.

Push hard!
Easy to use. I had to extend the wires from my previous doorbell in order to connect my new Ring doorbell. I was pleased to see this as an inexpensive option to connect the wires. At first, I guess I was afraid of breaking it and I thought I was using it wrong. But you have to push really firmly (which was slightly difficult for me due to the short length of the previous wiring). With persistence I got it! Doorbell hardwired in and working beautifully.
