Southwire 1/4-in Round Quick Connect 36-in Drill Bit Extension

I bought this to do an install as soon as the augur bit that came in the kit got about 1/2 thru a 2x4 bottom plate in a wall the rod sheared off at the drill. Tried to just chuck the drill up to what was left of the flexible rod to back out the bit so that I could take it back it sheared off right at the bit so now I have no way of getting the bit out of the wall. Not worth the money or time spent should have went ahead a bought an IDEAL flex bit

Drill Extenison

Needed to drill holes through the ceiling to add 2 additional can lights and this extension allowed me to drill through 2 ceiling joints diagonally from new location to an exiting can light without cutting additional holes in the ceiling. The scary part is the unknown between the ceiling joist. Drill carefully.

best tool ever!

a must have for anyone running wires through joists! I've done countless recessed lighting jobs. at first I was using the standard flex bits to run the wires from one light to the next. but the bits are expensive and if you hit one nail the whole bit is junk. it won't even cut through paper. and another one is a fortune. plus they're under allot of stress and tend to break on one end after a while and once the end snaps off the shaft will just spin in the Chuck. and than I went to Lowe's and fou...

My existing bits fit which gives me the flexibility to drill different sized holes for different wire sizes.

works freat for a while

Product works great at first. The set screws get loose though. I tried using an allen wrench to tighten them again, but the screws strip out. I think the product needs some improvement. I’d recommend it to a friend.

Instead of using post hole diggers to put a galvanized pole into the ground for a bird house, I found this tool. I wanted the hole to be about 3 feet deep. This was perfect. I attached it to my cordless drill and used a flat 1-1/2" wood bit to drill the hole. The quick connect end holds the bit so it won't come out while drilling. No ugly mess, just a nice clean hole.

#2 Phillips

This item did not hold the #2 Phillips bit I needed it very well. It seemed to be made very well and may come in handy for other tools.
