Great underlayment.

Received the Solid Sound underlayment and noticed that the packaging was very informative and straight forward. On taking out of packaging, I noticed the clear instructions on the back of the label on how to install. The thickness is just right. Can’t wait to see how it holds up under normal wear and tear.

Good Standard Underlayment

Currently using this on an engineered hardwood install and so far so good. I like the adhesive for connecting the rows together. Seems like a good 2mm underlay.

I am in the middle of a remodel in my basement which will include engineered flooring. I need an underlayment and thought I'd give this a try. It is a solid 2mm in thickness and seems pretty sturdy. It is easily cut with a utility knife. There is an adhesive strip down one side and a few inches of clear plastic on the other side that overlaps when you lay the second and subsequent course of product down next to the first or previous course. It doesnt just lay there

The underlayment is 2mm thick, but seems much more dense that others I have used. Better for sound absorption. The roll has a tacky strip on one site, and a tab of plastic on the other so that they can be joined and seamless. It's a nice feature,no need for additional vapor barrier tape. The downside is that the tack strip is NOT very sticky. An additional roll of tape may be necessary to keep the barrier closed off. Lastly, I feel the product was rolled up backwards. Smart choice for LVP

This product is twice as thick as the standard underlayment I used recently, less expensive and more effective as a sound barrier and in adding cushioning. It's easy to cut and to use. The added benefit of protecting against mold and mildew makes this a good choice in supporting LVP flooring.

Easy to use

Great product, fantastic sound proofing for your upstairs family room. This really cuts down the noise from your rambunctious kids and grandkids, while you entertain down stairs.

Great sound barrier

Easy to install with directions. With a child on the way, trying to prepare for the future and all the running without bothering the floor beneath. Great feature is the adhesive so I can peel and stick without much trouble or additional assistance. There is also the moisture barrier lip side on the right of the underlayment so there is more protection as you line it up side by side. Wish it was a bit thicker but it still adds quite the improvement!
