Smith's Smith's Standard Precision Knife Sharpening

Very disappointed

2 of the guide rods in my kit were slightly bent and the clamp that is supposed to hold the blade in position were horrible in my opinion. Very disappointed.

This is by far the easiest method for sharpening small knives. In minutes I can take a knife that won't cut butter, & within minutes it's razor sharp. Adding a 4th stone medium grit to the kit would be nice. I brag on my sharpening kit all the time.

Quality sharpener.

Needed a decent sharpening stone and decided to pick up this kit. I am pleased with the quality and the vise makes sharpening very easy.

Not so good with pocket knives

I did not like this product. I have mostly pocket knives and they don’t fit to where they can be sharpened at the proper angle without hitting the sharpener frame.

works the way it is suppose to

Loved this product. I own one already and ordered this one for my brother.

Better than old style unit.

Smith seems to have got it right with this kit. The unit is easier to use than the old style unit. They would have done better to show how everything fits into the case. Getting things to fit into the case was hit and miss. All in all it is good.
