Determining the size of your toilet can be accomplished by performing one of the following exercises: (1) If your toilet has a rubber flapper, measure accross (or the diameter of) the flapper. A 2-inch toilet's flapper will measure a little larger than 2 inches. A 3-inch toilet's flapper will measure a little larger than 3 inches. OR (2) If the discharge hole opening looks about the size of a baseball or an orange, then you have a 2-inch toilet. If the discharge hole opening looks about the size of a softball or a grapefruit, then you have a 3-inch toilet.
