Great Tool.
We've been using this tool daily for over a year and have driven around 50,000 screws to repair pallets. Unlike some other reviews, we haven't experienced any issues with jamming or sheared mandrels. The only minor issue we've encountered was the spring-loaded screw holder falling out, but we replaced the quick drive attachment, and everything has been working perfectly since. Gresat Product-Immediately Broke
I really like this product but it immediately broke (first box of screws). The QD adapter sheered from the mandrel (extension). Simpson has not responded to my request for parts numbers so i am left ordering parts that i dont need. There is not parts book that i have found also.

Cordless is convenient but....
I have been using the corded makita quickdrives for roughly 10 years building docks and decks. I purchased 2 of these from lowes and noticed both of them the adapter between the gun and the shaft was hot enough to burn so i pulled the shaft off and found gold dust from the brass or bronze bushing in the head. I emailed dewalt and they said to send them in but i swapped one at lowes for a new one and it also did the same thing. This was happening less than a 1000 ct box of screws. I continued usi...
