I applied this to several rugs and it just started shredding and peeling off.

Rug still moves and is not safe.
I bought this to help keep my rug from slipping. I placed the tap 3" apart from end to end and it didn't work. Very disappointed and a waste of money and time.
Read the Specifications!
I love this stuff- I use it all over the house. It is NOT double sided tape- it has adhesive to stick to your rug on one side and a friction foam on the other. If you have hardwood, concrete, etc. it will work SO well without being stuck to (or leaving residue on) your floor. I use it for my front door mat, on area rugs on my carpet, and for my dock. Good stuff if you read and understand the description.

I purchased this product to keep our rug stair treads in place on our hardwood stairs and they do nothing to keep them from slipping. This tape is not sticky on both sides, only the side that attaches to the rugs themselves so there is nothing to actually prevent slippage. Waste of money and obviously can't return - super disappointed in this product.

Doesnt work
Sticks to the rug but not to the floor, so unless you step on the rug exactly where the tape is the rug can still move.
