Has good power but clogs

I've had this a few months now and it's ok. I have several Grizzly tools in my shop and they perform really well for me, however this dust collector clogs pretty easily. Works fine for smaller particles but doesn't perform well when using my planer.

Great dust collector for small shop.

Huge step up from a shop vac. Powerful suction. Even using dust hose reducer to fit my Delta saw, it is so much better at reducing dust. While it’s still loud, the pitch is more comfortable. It is perfect for my needs as a hobbyist woodworker. I am fine with moving the unit around my garage as I go from table saw to bandsaw to planer. The casters could be improved and replacing the dust bag after emptying could be less awkward, but those are quibbles about a solid and economical dust collector....

New dust collector works great!! I have been using it on my bandsaw and router table.

Dust collector is great.

There was only one issue. When I unboxed the dust collector and put it together the motor cover was dented in and I needed to remove it to bang out the dented spot so the motor would turn freely.

Great unit for what I use it forl

Just purchased this unit. What happened to the collection bag? That plastic bag is hard to mount unless you use tape to hold it in place to put the band on. I was using an older model that had the bag and that was easy to put on compared to the plastic bag. Can you still get a cloth bag that will work for this unit? Not very pleased with this setup.

It was not complete

It appears to be a good product but 2 things buyer needs to know. 1) the base stand is very weak, wobbles and simply needs a better/stronger build. More important is it comes with NO HOSE to attach the vacuum to your equipment! Can you imagine buying any vacuum and not having it complete to use? All Grizzly could say is they sell it. When I ordered and asked if I need anything with it I was told no - it was highly recommended.

Since my purchase, I have filled two bags with sawdust and the product meets most expectations. The fan curve is such that it wont move some chips in the four inch hose if you use a 2 1/4 reducer at a router table. The lower bag is somewhat difficult to attach but the use of magnets to hold it while you attach the clamp solves the problem. Received damaged

Packaging was not damaged, fan cover and switch housing damaged. Scratches on support leg. Grizzly sent replacement parts pretty quickly. Machine is better than I hoped. Very happy with Grizzly quality.
