Why have a window?
If I could return this microwave I would. Lowes wont take it back because I opened the box??? The manufacturer says that it is the way we designed it so it is not defective. I installed the microwave and was very happy it matched my stove and that it looked good. I put a mug of water in and turned it on. It worked fine and heated the water like it was supposed to. SHARP microwave
Great look and live the "glass" instrument front. No plastic buttons to push and break! Also heats so quiet! I have to look to see if its working...lol I would highly recommend over the Samsung bespoke microwave. I bought the Samsung bespoke white range and wanted to have the microwave match. But, on so many reviews and complaints about the Samsung bespoke microwave, i decide on this one. Glad i did. Has many great features and works great! Plus hidden handel.

Disappointed
Liked the looks but it did not work when installed. Appliance dealer said that Sharp insisted on repair instead of replacement. Techs could not make it work so we had to buy a different new microwave. Poor quality control.

Outstanding microwave
Modern appearance no handles. The install was simple with very good templates showing where to drill and set the wall bracket. We are very happy with this purchase. I recommend this microwave to anyone.
