This so far is a great addition to my kitchen and I loving it.

Useful features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a gift from my son and I enjoy using it greatly. The Alexa feature is necessary for me for health reasons and it was the deciding factor from the start. It is easy to use and dependable.

Chip malfunctioned

Chip was bad out of the box. Sharp replaced the unit quickly. New unit has wi-fi, and most of the instructions address wi-fi. We aren't using the wi-fi feature, and the instructions are scant and somewhat confusing.

Grinding noise right out of the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this today. Loved the size but the glass plate appears to be too big for the microwave and rubs as it turns. There is also a loud grinding noise when it runs. Will probably be returning this tomorrow

Sharp Microwave model # SMC1169HS

This microwave is well worth the money.. It works great, is quiet… I can’t think of any negatives about it..

almost perfect except for no default time cook

silent mode is perfect. would be five stars except you can't set it to go to time cook by default when pressing numbers

Clock issue

for some reason, the clock on this microwave randomly jumps ahead three hours for no reason. I disconnected the Alexa from it and it is still having the same problem. There doesn’t seem to be an explanation as to why it does this, and so randomly. Very frustrating to have to keep resetting the clock to the correct time.
