The 3/4-in SharkBite check valve is a general-purpose spring check valve that prevents the reverse flow of water. The SharkBite check valve can be installed horizontally or vertically on copper, PEX, CPVC or PE-RT. A flow of 2PSI (cracking pressure) is required to open the check valve. Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal.

Great fitting.

Would Recommend

Love these fittings. So easy to join copper pipe together. They are a little high priced but work like they are supposed to with no sweating involved. Just pipe, a pipe cutter and the fittings. If you have and logical building skills to map out what you need, and know a few hand tools, anyone can do it. Went into the water regulating valve perfectly.
