Holes need to be smaller
It's hard to screw this against the wall because the hole is too big to hold the bolts.

used for foundation vents instead of the smaller 1
they are made out of plastic ,my other ones are metal BUT they worked out real good...i used these for my foundation vents which these are a lot wider than normal they look real good

Happy to see this product back on the shelf @ Lowes. I used several of these 15+ years ago on my windows & they have held up great. Last year I needed to extend the height on one window by adding a new 12" unit but it was nowhere to be found & I was quite disappointed. Well almost a year pasted and then I found one @ Lowes. It appears that the availability of this product was halted while the original manufacturer bought another company and they turned production over to them as I noticed a diff...
