Works with Selkirk SuperVent or DuraVent

Would Recommend

This is somewhat confusing and took me a while to figure out. Lowes carried this rain cap in stock which per the Selkirk manufacturers literature fits their DuraVent line of pipe. The cap for SuperVent pipe (which is what I bought) is shown as a different part number and Lowes did not inventory it. So I asked Lowes to special order it. When Lowes tried to special order it directly from Selirk it was not available. So I had to take a section of DuraVent and a section of SuperVent out of the boxe...

Poor quality

Would Not Recommend

I bought this to replace my original chimney cap that blew off in a storm. I would have returned it except that it was on the only option in stock in town. Very disappointed in the quality, esp for the price. Relies on three flimsies tabs to attach to the pipe. Entire piece is covered in thin grease - why is this necessary if it's made of stainless steel? I had to jury rig to install as the band was too large. I have 0 confidence that it will stay on in a future windstorm.
