Do not buy Samsung Washing Machines
This is my 2nd Samsung washing machine in the past 6 years so I should have known not to buy one. I've had this for just over two years and it just stopped running. I called a tech and he said it was an issue with the motherboard and would have to order a new one, which was already on back order. I have a family and can't wait weeks to fix a washing machine. Samsung Customer Service tried to be helpful, but there is only so much they can do (besides giving a refund so I could buy a new machine)....
Ok while it lasted
Was a good machine for a couple of years. After just four years of use, the bearing is shot and I have no choice but to buy a new machine since the repair price is more than a new machine. The non-Samsung repair person I brought in said Samsung has dissimilar metals in the machine so it may have corroded prematurely. That is speculation of course without a full tear down to confirm but it's one of a few possibilities. Samsung was willing to send a certified tech out, at my cost. Frustratin...

RUN AWAY From Anything Samsung!!!
It's not Nov of 2023 and this washer is right at 3.5 years old and already the drum makes a HORRIBLE sound when it spins. I'm told that the from shaft bearing and spider arm are bad. Paid over $800.00 for this and the matching dryer that I've alread had to replace the drum wheels due to squeeking bearings. DON'T BUY SAMSUNG!!

It was my ONLY option during COVID shopping. Lasted just a little shy of 2 years before it completely destroyed the plastic holding the weight to the machine. Not quality product to live up t American standard
Less than three years our washing machine it is dead. No wonder all Samsung warranty is for 1 year as they know it will not last beyond one year. I have problem with Samsung brand now- OLED TV dead in few years, their phone same, their Robo vacuums cleaner dead in 2 years. Bad idea for make smart home using Samsung brand. Never again.

For some reason there is no way to edit my previous review so I'm posting a new one. Since I got the washing machine, it produced a loud squealing noise whenever it was operating (usually loudest during the rinse cycle), coming from near the drain pump filter. I haven't had this washer for 6 months yet and it is already broken to the point where it would be better to just buy a new washer from a different company.
