Flimsy!!! Not worth $

Frames are not sturdy. Easily warp and twist as soon as the screen is added. The flatter you get the screen the more warp and twist and edgebow you get. Dont waste hours of frustration. By a better quality frame. An easy build turned into much aggravation.

OK except for the spline and spline groove

From a manufacturing point of view I can see why it is faster and easier to install the spline into the frame pieces and then cut both at the same time. But I recommend that the company managers try and remove that spline from that groove! I had to bend the groove open a bit just to pull the spline out without breaking it. Very poor design. Also it is not a standard sized spline.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about but I had no problems with this kit. The instructions should state to account for the corners in your cutting of the frame. I knew to do so but some do it yourself ers may not. Made 4 screens in about an hour with 3 kits

I had no problems

I almost didn't buy the kit based upon the negative reviews. Because I have several custom-sized windows and a large mastiff who creates havoc on screens, I was looking at big expenses from purchasing custom screens. I bought this kit for $15 and gave it a shot. No issues, great screen. Take your time...I had none of the described problems at all.

These are complete trash, avoid

The spline comes already installed and its impossible to take out without destroying the spline or the frame pieces. Better to buy the frames and spline separately and not in this kit, which is trash.

Very Poor Quality, Very Poor Customer Experience

I wish I had read the couple of reviews on Lowe’s app before purchasing this kit. As work by others, the quality is horrible. The aluminum is so flimsy, it will bend with the slightest pressure. Packaging of the product is a joke. Why put the spline Into the groove of the frame? Getting it out is a chore and you’ll likely break some of it in the process. Missing Parts

I purchased 2 of these kits. Neither of them had the spline which was supposed to be included.

worst ever quality.

1.Corners are so thin... any move and you breake it. 2. Spline is sticky, thin and splitting when you try to pull it out of the frame. 3. Frame packed with super-sticky tape leaving marks on the frame.

poorly made

Was this ever a bad putchase. Dont waste your time. Frame flexes and bends very easily. Spent the last 4 hours trying to make one small screen to put it in the window to have the frame bend completely in half with absolutely no force on it. Complete garbage.
