SKIL Carbide-Tipped Roundover Router Bit

Very useful

I was needing a small roundover bit and found this. Price was good and the bit has chewed through hardwood and softwood without skipping a beat. Very little tear-out. I expect it will work well for quite a while.

good quality bit

I think I used it/needed it for the total length of 30 minutes. Did the job well. May never have to use it again but at least I'll have it in my collection. I like the idea of a bearing on a bit to give the wood something to ride against if I'm not using a fence.

First bit

This is the first bit I’ve ever bought so can’t compare to others. First impressions is that it cuts clean. I had issues getting the depth right, but that is probably due to inexperience with the router.

Router bit quality

This router bit is a very high-quality router bit made by Skil. I'm very pleased with its performance. I would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent Combo Bit

I was surprised to find a smaller tip-bearing in the package. I ended up using the smaller bearing to make an interesting profile on a pair of doors that I was making. Excellent product.

Nice bit.

Good bit. Needed to clean off the factory grease/coating as saw dust stuck to it (and bearing) which created uneven contour cut lines

Great investment on router bit

I am very particular on tools I purchase especially bits and blades. I was very pleased with the quality of these bits and edge they cut when finishing out a bar.

Rounded router bit

Bought this bit bcuz he wore out his last one, that lasted for 5 years.

Bearing failure

Bearing burns out within a few feet & causes vibration. Junk

Worked great!

Used it to put a round on maple plywood. Worked great!
