Used two times and now it's dead!

Would Not Recommend

Used once to drill 7 holes for concrete anchor bolts and once to mix one bag of concrete in a 5# bucket. Next time I went use to use it, it was dead. Opened up the case and found melted plastic. I've had many drills over the years but none that failed so quickly.

Great hammer drill

Would Not Recommend

I love this drill! But it burnt out and smoked melted and sparked after 3 months of purchase. It’s a 80 buck paper weight now. Was just drilling with a 3/8 Diablo masonry bit through cinder block and I checked for rebar it was just a block when the drill sparked, got super hot and the housing melted. It’s too bad cause I really liked the drill it was strong and did the job. But I may have to consider a different brand of hammer drill.

No good warranty

Would Not Recommend

Until up after 2nd use. Beings I bought it on ebay,skil won't honor the warranty. Stuck with useless drill.

7.5 amp hammer drill - clamping issues

Would Recommend

This hammer drill drills very well into solid concrete with the correct bit. However, the clamp that stops the depth gauge does not work.
