The product could have been more robustly designed but for a DIY home user this would have been overkill. The product is adequately designed for my use as an occasional home user. It has the needed features for home use but they may prove inadequate for a professional. It results in an excellent value for an occasional home user. $30 some dollars is a great price for this tool.

quick change blade

I bought and tried this for 3 weeks,was not happy with it .I found it very heavy which then made it some what difficult to move around in tight places.

Better than the original!

My husband bought this jigsaw to replace one the neighbor borrowed and returned broken. It was a very old one, and he couldn't find a replacement blade to fit, so he bought the new one and gave the old one to the neighbor. My husband said the new one is easier to operate and a pleasure to use.

Good Buy

I do not use a jig saw much so when my old one bit the dust I was looking for a good buy. I own a Skil brand blade saw I have had for years and it has been great. I bought this jig saw because of the price and my experience with the Skil saw I own. I really like the features of toolless balde change and the blade storage compartment. Good Buy

I needed to replace my old broken jigsaw. I wasn't sure of which brand that I wanted. I checked out a few models and purchased this one. I am very happy with my purchase. The jigsaw is very easy to handle. To change blades is a snap and I would recommend this model to anyone.

Does the job...but

Good product for the cost. I used it for cutting backer boards for tiling and it did the job. Does vibrate quite a bit and you have to cut slow to get the precise straight cut. But again, if you need something for small and quick jobs, this is the one to get. Make sure you get a replacement blade when you purchase this. The blade that came with it, dulled after a couple of cutting jobs.
