SIMPSON MegaShot 3100-PSI 2.3-GPM Cold Water Gas Pressure washer with 4 Spray Tips

Broke before I could use it.

I bought this and had it in the box for a bit. Life got in the way. I pulled it out, followed the instructions, and got ready to clean a very dirty ATV. The water inlet snapped right off while I was putting the hose on... It just came off. If I could return it, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Poor design

It has a poor design where the water hooks to the pump. I have now had two pumps break because the metal is so thin and it’s not solid metal. It is a cast metal. The first one was under warranty. I am now looking for a replacement part and deciding if it’s worth just trashing the machine the motor is in great shape hardly any use. It has been very handy to have to do small projects around the house. I’d recommend getting a different product better built.

Hose housing snapped off

Same as everyone else. The unit tipped back and broke off the housing that attaches the hose.

Soap tank

Soap Tank is trash. Soap tank is dispenser is  located too low causing the dispensing hose to drag and or hit ground causing damage to dispensing nipple and hose

Very Good For Price

paid 230+ tax when it was on sale. For the price it is a 10/10. Bought it to start my pressure washing bussiness and I have been using it the last month for atleast 5 hours straight every day and it holds up great. It will overheat and turn off if you put it in the sun in the 95 degree heat of course. But if you keep up with it its perfect. My friend payed 800 dollars for a dewalt one, yet it has the same engine and everything as this except for electric start. Well worth the money.

The washer quit working almost every time I tried to use it. The engine quits after a few minutes and is very unreliable. Also, the machine is very top-heavy and tends to fall over very easily. The last time it fell over it broke the manifold water intake and I am done with this piece of junk.
